In light of the introduction of the COVID level system in Scotland there is much uncertainty of how COVID 19 will continue to impact on all our lives over the coming months. We anticipate that there is likely to be continued restrictions placed on our society as we navigate our way through the pandemic. Our team have worked extremely hard over the past few months to adapt the ways in which we work to be able to look after our patients and offer as much support and advice as possible whilst adhering to strict PPE and hygiene practices to protect ourselves, our families and with wider public. We cannot express how grateful we are to you all for your kindness and support for us all over these demanding and difficult few months.
To enable us to work safely and minimise risks, these are the measure we will continue to put in place. We will regularly review our protocols and we look forward to the future when we can welcome you and your companion fully back into our wee practice!
Our saftey measures
MASKS- Must be worn all at times during your appointment. If you are unable to wear a mask please let us know when booking the appointment. We can collect your pet at the entrance to the practice and take your payment via our card machine outside as long as you maintain a safe distance.
WAITING-Unfortunately you will be asked to wait outside as the waiting room is closed. Please dress appropriately for the weather as you may need to wait outside while we examine your pet.
HYGIENE- Please sanitise your hands before and after your appointment. We would also recommend wiping down pet carriers/leads etc that may have bene in contact with others during your appointment.
ONE PERSON ONLY PER APPOINTMENT- For safely we would prefer to have only one person to attend the appointment. If you are bringing your children/family etc, can we would ask that you arrange for them to wait at a safe distance or in your car.
CONSULT ROOM- Due to size restrictions and ventilation, we have decided to continue our policy of no clients in the consult rooms. We will discuss treatment etc with you outside the practice.
